Neuro-IFRAH Instructor
Zhaoheng (Joy) Shi, OTD, OTR/L, CHT earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California 2011 where she developed a passion for helping individuals regain their independence after strokes and/or brain injuries.
Joy completed her Neuro-IFRAH ® certification course in 2012 and took the Advanced Upper Extremity and Advanced Hand Function/Fine Motor Control courses from the originator of Neuro-IFRAH approach Waleed Al-Oboudi in 2015. After practicing in a variety of clinical settings, Joy went on to take the clinical training with Waleed and earned her credential of Neuro-IFRAH CLINICAL CERTIFIED™ in 2023. She also completed the Neuro-IFRAH Instructor ® training program in the same year.
Joy currently practices in both outpatient and home settings in Southern California.
