Neuro-IFRAH Instructor

Don Duzenack OTR/L, Neuro-IFRAH Instructor® graduated from Colorado State University in 1997 with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy and Biological Sciences. He has worked as on Occupational Therapist in the Nothern Nevada region for the past eight years in a variety of settings, including acute care, inpatient rehab, skilled nursing and private fee for service. Don began specialized training in the treatment of adults with hemiplegia from a stroke or brain injury under the instruction of Waleed Al-Oboudi M.S. OTR/L, the originator of the the Neuro-Integrative Functional Rehabilitation & Habilitation (Neuro-IFRAH®) approach. In August 2004, Don completed the Neuro-IFRAH Instructor® Training course in Redondo Beach, CA. After completing the Instructor training course, Don, Amy Duzenack, and Jennifer Bainton started the Stroke And Brain Injury Rehabilitation (SABIR) Institute in Reno, NV. The SABIR Institute offers introductory, intermediate and the 98 hour Neuro-IFRAH® Certification course in the Treatment and Management of Adults with Hemiplegia from a Stroke or Brain Injury to licensed Occupational & Physical Therapists, COTA’s and PTA’s. SABIR also provides personal and specialized treatment to persons who have had a stroke or brain injury.
