Dora received her Professional Diploma in Occupational Therapy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1988. She got her Master Degree in Health Care (Occupational Therapy) from the same University in 2000. Since 1997, she has been the clinical instructor supervising university students in Kowloon Hospital. She is keen in the field of Neuro-rehabilitation, in which she collobarated with the rehabilitation specialist to set up the Hand Rehabilitation and Research Centre and the Cognitive Training Centre in Kowloon Hospital. Deeply impressed by an overseas training under Mr. Waleed Al-Oboudi, MOT, OTR, she suggested the training committee of Hong Kong Occupational Therapy Association (HKOTA) to invite Mr Al-Oboudi to run courses in Hong Kong to improve the local occupational therapists’ knowledge and skills about Neuro-IFRAH® since 2006. On the other hand, with the mission to improve stroke rehabilitation, she led the Neuro-IFRAH trained Occupational Therapists in the department to reform the stroke rehab service from traditional remedial training to the application of Neuro-IFRAH. In Feb 2014, she became a Neuro-IFRAH Honorary Instructor® with a scholarship from HKOTA. She is also a Neuro-IFRAH International® provider.
